The POR-15 Store Introduces One-Part UV-Stable Topcoats
By: Ben Bonkoski
The POR-15 Store would like to introduce their one-part UV-Stable topcoats, perfect for going right over POR-15 rust preventative primer! These equally as tough topcoats are: Blackcote, a highly glossy black; Chassiscoat, a satiny, semi-gloss black; Stirling Silver, shiny silver; and Metal Mask, a bare-metal gray.
These topcoats are highly flexible, non-porous, extremely scratch resistant, and strengthened by exposure to moisture. They can all be used over POR-15® for the toughest, most permanent protection against rust and corrosion ever developed. They won't crack, chip or peel, and they look terrific.
If your car or truck was produced in the United States any time between the early 1950's and today, the semi-gloss finish is probably more 'correct as original' for under-hood and chassis components, while earlier vehicles usually came with gloss black frames, chassis, and under-hood parts.
For the very best protection, POR-15 should be applied as a primer right on the bare metal. This will make sure your metal will never rust. Then, by applying one of these UV-stable topcoats, the POR15 will be protected from the sunlight for a beautiful, professional-looking finish.
How do these topcoats work over other painted surfaces? As a matter of fact, they work very well. There are many occasions when you want corrosion protection over a painted surface and the old paint can not be removed. Simply clean that surface with a wax and grease remover, then topcoat with any of these topcoats.
If spraying is the desired mode of application, these topcoats can be thinned about 5% with POR-15 Solvent and sprayed in thin, covering coats. Much like the POR-15 rust preventative paint, these topcoats are all difficult and nearly impossible to remove from the skin once they dry. Clean-up can be done using lacquer thinner or the POR-15 Solvent before the paints dry on your skin.

Is In The Air! What Does That Mean? FOOTBALL SEASON!
I just hate it! To make matters worse hubby is home on sick
leave due to his own football injury tossing the dogs toy football and trying
to beat the dog across the yard for it, needless to say those groin muscles
will be out of commission for a while. Lying around with his ice bag the first
day watching soaps with me was enough to make him nuts! Then day two at 2:00
pm, time for “The Young and The Restless” he hides the stupid remote!
I’m going insane tearing the house apart... this is my favorite soap!! He
can’t do this to me!! The whole time I’m going nuts looking for the

Getting
Paid To Drive
There seems to be a never ending fascination to the notion
that some people get paid to drive their cars. While it is true that a few
lucky people are able to do this, the entire field of paid to drive
opportunities has changed dramatically over the last few years. The get paid to
drive concept was at the height of its popularity during the Internet bubble
of the late 1990s. Roadside advertising was near capacity leaving the many
companies that wanted to advertise their service or product to those driving
in their cars without a place to do so. At this time, billboard and other

History
of the Guitar
It is very difficult to trace a line back to the exact birth
of the instrument we know as the guitar today, as there is a lot of myth and
uncertainty surrounding its origins. This is mainly due to the fact there have
been a number of similar instruments throughout the ages. Many historians
claim the guitar originated at various points in time. Some believe the guitar
in its earliest form dates back some 4000 years, however no-one really knows
for sure. This is due to a number of artworks that depict guitar-like
instruments being used at various times throughout history. Many ancient
